Chrissie Hynde, American Singer Songwriter

In June 2014 she has released "Stockholm" her first solo album since forming the Pretenders in 1978. We hear "Down the Wrong Way" from "Stockholm" featuring Neil Young on lead guitar. She moved from her hometown of Akron Ohio to London when she was 22 yrs old and fought to start her own band. The Pretenders began recording in 1978 and from their 2nd album in 1981 we hear "Message Of Love". In 2005 the band was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. That same year she records a duet with Ringo Starr on his album "Choose Love". In 2008 the Pretenders release Break up the Concrete and we hear "Rosalee" and "The Nothing Maker". From their 2009 Live in London concert we hear "I'll Stand By You". She formed a new band in 2010 called JP, Chrissie & the Fairground Boys and we hear "Perfect Lover". Finally we hear two more songs from Stockholm, "You or No One" and "In a Miracle".
